Interested in the nonprofit sector and philanthropy? The Fidelity Charitable Trustees’ Initiative is seeking a Summer Intern to support its ongoing grantmaking efforts to ensure nonprofits across the country have the resources they need to run thriving organizations. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector through course work, volunteering, or previous internship experience. As of this summer, they will be a rising junior or senior. Ideally, the candidate will be based in the Raleigh/Durham or Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

About the Initiative: The Fidelity Charitable Trustees’ Initiative is a grantmaking program of Fidelity Charitable that is separate from its donor-advised fund program. Its purpose is to strengthen the resilience, sustainability and effectiveness of the social sector’s infrastructure—the shared resources, information, networks, research and advocacy that all donors and nonprofits need so they can achieve their intended impact. Its grantmaking is focused on programs, projects and organizations that:

-Strengthen intermediaries and networks (e.g., North Carolina Center for Nonprofits and the Triangle Community Foundation) that provide information, research and advocacy needed by nonprofits to achieve their intended impact
-Enhance individual donors’ ability to make effective and informed giving decisions
