Team Advisors guide students through their NSLC experience. Each TA is responsible for a small group of 12-16 high school students. TAs generally work either half or whole summers. As a TA, you will lead small group discussions and debriefings, teach academic and leadership sessions, assist Administrative staff, Professors and Leadership Facilitators with program components, serve as a chaperone during off-campus trips and evening social activities, reside in the dormitory on the same floors as students, serving as a Resident Advisor.

Team Advisors are generally current college sophomores – seniors. NSLC has a primary focus on leadership development. Applicants should have leadership experience and/or training. Our programs include TA-led sessions that require appropriate educational backgrounds and work/volunteer/intern experience.

Candidates should have completed coursework or have experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, basic business curriculum (including accounting, economics, management, etc.), and/or sports & entertainment management.

NSLC hires on a rolling basis beginning at the end of January through mid-April. On-site work scheduled to begin on June 3rd, 2022 and end June 30th, 2022. Exact dates subject to change. Opportunities to work a full summer (June-July) may become available.

This is a paid position. Team Advisors receive a stipend for each session worked. Typically, each program has 2 sessions throughout the one month period. May vary depending on program length and position.
