In this role, you will be joining a team working on the research and development of a mobile wireless signal mapping application. The client is the Army C5SIR Night Vision Laboratory. This will be a dynamic position. Tasks will range from traditional software development, to working with stakeholders to understand their requirements, and field testing/validating the product on a Humvee at a nearby base.

In addition to current contract work we will look to you to help create proposals and white papers for future contract work. You will have the opportunity and autonomy to lead the creation of proposals. You can go from proposing an idea, to leading your own team on a multi-million dollar project, all within a year. We’ll be focusing on Web3 contracting opportunities, and you’ll have the opportunity to develop relevant Web3 skills to gain experience for future projects.

Required Qualifications:

-Experience with software design principles and best practices
-Experience with software development processes and tools. Agile/Spiral development models, source control (git, svn), integrated development environments (Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Code), etc.
-Proven expertise developing systems in common programming languages (Python, Java, C, etc.)
-Strong writing skills
-Experience working in a close knit team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience in algorithm optimization for processing-constrained environments
-Experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and/or Web3
-Grant/proposal writing experience
-Mobile App development experience (Android or iOS)


Total compensation package value: $135,000/year + $80,000 vesting equity
