Sprihaa KolanukuduruSprihaa was born and raised in Fremont, CA and moved to India for three years, before moving to Cary, NC. She currently attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she is majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Medicine, Literature, and Culture, hoping to pursue an MD/PhD after graduating. Sprihaa joined the Eroglu Lab in 2022 and works with Pia to study the role of mitochondrial dynamics in astrocyte morphogenesis and development. Her project focuses on astrocyte organization and migration, and she has received the Lindquist Grant from UNC-CH’s Psychology and Neuroscience department for her work. Outside lab, Sprihaa enjoys dancing, is an avid reader, enjoys cooking, and all sorts of artsy activities.
