Nick BroseMidwest born and raised, Nick was born in Peoria, Illinois.  He received his Bachelors in Biology from Benedictine College. As an undergraduate he worked with the USDA on crop biocontrol methods and the identification of novel plant compounds for mosquito control. In his senior year he collaborated with the Christenson lab at University of Kansas Medical Center to evaluate the impact of prolonged microgravity on the mouse uterus. Nick joined the Eroglu lab as a graduate student in May 2021 and is interested in understanding the impact of Parkinson’s-linked mutations on glial mechanisms of neurodevelopment. Outside of lab, Nick enjoys hiking, playing games, and fishing.
