Julie Chambers
Associate Director
Julie collaborates with Dr. Field on the overall management and strategic direction of DevLab. She provides technical support and contributes to project and grant management of lab research projects.
Prior to joining DevLab in 2020, she worked in a variety of research and assessment capacities within the nonprofit sector and academia. She has managed research and evaluation projects for organizations such as the U.S. Department of State, USAID and the World Bank, and has conducted field work in the Caribbean, South America, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and the United States.
She holds an MPA with International Development Policy and Management specialization from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and Bachelor in Psychology from George Mason University. She is particularly passionate about education and workforce development, social protection and inclusive growth.
