Amy is a third year MEM/MBA joint degree student pursuing a dual concentration in investment finance and environmental economics. She is actively involved in the Real Estate Club, Asset Management Club, and MEM/MBA club. She is also a member of the Leadership Cohort developing leadership skills under senior level corporate executives. Prior to graduate school, Amy worked for Enclos Corporation on construction of LA Live and MGM City Center. Amy interned with Kraft in their sustainability department in the summer of 2011 and Goldman Sachs in their Investment Management division in the summer of 2012. Amy received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. Amy is a LEED Accredited Professional and a novice real estate investor.
Carrie Gonnella graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Human Development. In 2005, Carrie joined the Bay Area Teach For America Corps. She taught 7th grade math in East Palo Alto for three years, and then moved to Durham, NC and taught 6th grade math for an additional year. Carrie left the classroom in 2009 to pursue graduate studies in business and environment. She is currently in her final year of a joint MEM/MBA degree from the Nicholas School of the Environment and the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Louise Hill has several years of small business and business development experience in a range of industries. In addition, she has spent time as a member of both asset management and sustainable and responsible investment teams. Louise is a MEM/MBA candidate at the Fuqua School of Business and the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University focusing on strategy, marketing, and global change.
Jana Holt is a dual Master of Environmental Management and MBA candidate at Duke, with a concentration in economics and policy at the Nicholas School of the Environment and concentrations in marketing and decision sciences at the Fuqua School of Business. Jana’s career interests focus on corporate social responsibility, supply chain management, and sustainable food systems. Before graduate school, Jana lived in Boston and worked in the Corporate Partnerships Program at Environmental Defense Fund, developing and implementing environmental best practices with Fortune 500 companies. During her summers at Duke, Jana interned for the Rocky Mountain Institute and Au Bon Pain. Jana is originally from the Philadelphia area, and graduated from Princeton University with a degree in politics and environmental studies.
