In this course, we will explore basic microeconomic concepts such as demand and supply, market structures and pricing, market efficiency, and equilibrium. Macroeconomic concepts such as inflation, unemployment, trade, economic growth, and development. Different perspectives on issues of monetary and fiscal policy. Emphasis on public policy issues and the logic behind the economic way of thinking.

Bonus: Responding to the data-driven paradigm shift in academia and digital transformation in the industry, our course proposes Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy initiatives. We will practice a data-driven methodology and work collaboratively in teams to answer fundamental economic questions: master the basics of implementing Micro experiment design in Qualtrics and Macro data visualization. (No prerequisite in coding needed.)
