Research by USP alum Eleanor Caves, PhD featured in Nature and Scientific American

Research by University Scholar alumna Eleanor Caves, PhD on color perception in birds was published in the August 1st 2018 issue of Nature.  For a lay take on her research, check out this overview in Forbes.

 

Dr. Caves’ work on how mutualistic signaling between cleaner shrimp and fish has also been featured in  National Geographic and Scientific American.

Caves, who graduated in May 2018, is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher for Stephen Nowicki, PhD, Professor of Biology at Duke University.
