Hello, New and Returning Van Users,

The transportation service has 2 vans – two of the vans #1206 (Van B) and #1207 (Van C) are 12-passenger White vans with a Durham and Regional Affairs (DARA) logo on them.

Pick up locations on Campus:

East Campus – The pickup area is at the curb at the Class of 1937 bench. This is behind the statue of Washington Duke sitting in his chair.

  • The Van is expected to arrive on time and leave on time for pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • The Van cannot wait for you if you are late (not even a minute).
  • Please arrive at your campus and placement site pick up area at least 5 minutes early.
  • The Van Driver has a pre-determined route, they cannot pick you up or drop you off at a different location.
  • If you are experiencing any challenges with Van Transportation, contact the program coordinator.
