DukeMed Engage exists to connect students, mentors and communities with common goals. We encourage students to review our list of available mentors or, if their interests are not represented, to seek a mentor from within or outside of Duke. Students are encouraged to contact mentors’ provided email addresses to build a relationship and initiate a dialogue about potential projects. For a basic understanding of the process, click here.
All mentors and projects must be approved by DukeMed Engage to ensure that the Duke University School of Medicine honor code and integrity are upheld.
If you are a student, check out our past projects and mentors pages for an idea of opportunities that are available. If you’d like to be a mentor, sign up on our mentors page or send us an email with any questions you may have. For guidance on international travel, visit the DGHI student travel page.
