About Us

Welcome to the Duke University Medical Center

iPSC Shared Resource Facility

The Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Shared Resource Facility (iPSCF) here at the Duke University Medical Center was created to provide scientists within the Duke research community a resource devoted to the generation and maintenance of human iPS cells. We will use the most current technology to generate the highest quality iPS cell lines for investigators to conduct both basic and translational research. The Duke iPSCF can also provide researchers with a source of existing iPS cell lines and NIH approved ES cell lines and we give instruction for their maintenance. By facilitating the derivation and distribution of human iPS cell lines, the Duke iPSCF will aid stem cell research and provide a new source for human disease modeling both within the Medical Center and to outside collaborators.
