Summary: What is the caste system? India’s caste system is one of the oldest forms of social division in the world. The caste system divides Hindus into four main categories – Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shrudas. In this system, dalits are excluded. In this podcast, I talk about the reasons that the caste system is a problem in the Indian society. Moreover, I talk about how the caste system affects children and the implications it has on them.
