Shelby Reed, PhD will be joining the Editorial Board of a journal rated as one of the top journals in the field, Health Services Research (HSR). HSR is published bimonthly and is the official journal of AcademyHealth, the professional organization of health services research and health policy.
“I was pleasantly surprised to be asked to join the Editorial Board for Health Services Research. In my role, I will help to ensure that empirical research published in HSR will provide valuable information to support key decisions to improve medical care delivery in increasingly integrated health care systems.” -Dr. Shelby Reed
As an editor Dr. Reed will have an opportunity to work with leading health services researchers. She and Dr. Matthew Maciejewski (also Duke GIM) were both selected recently for this important role.
