Lori Orlando Receives SGIM Recognition

Dr. Lori Orlando received special recognition from the SGIM President, Dr. Eric Bass, for her leadership on the Annual Program Committee meeting from 2013 to 2014. Dr. Orlando co-chaired the Special Symposia events for the meeting, including several events on stakeholder engagement, personalized medicine, the affordable care act, and medical education. Dr. Bass cited Dr. Orlando’s contribution as a key contributor to the meeting having the highest attendance in the history of the Society. Congratulations, Dr. Orlando!
