Division Chief Ebony Boulware, MD, MPH will host the first in a series of quarterly Town Hall meetings to answer questions about the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 20.
The CTSA is the NIH’s largest single investment in biomedical research. The NIH gives these awards to institutions to create academic homes for translational research. In 2013 the NIH renewed Duke’s original 2006 grant, committing to another $47 million over five years. During the Town Hall, Boulware will provide an overview of the CTSA, and discuss its pilot funding resources. Other speakers include Victoria Christian, COO of the Duke Translational Research Institute, and Duke faculty members who have received DTRI Pilot Program funding.
