Dr. Anastasia Karklina Gabriel
Dr. Anastasia Karklina Gabriel is a brand strateqist who uses her expertise as a classically trained cultural analyst to build culturally incisive and socially impactful strategy for forward-thinking brands. She received her Ph.D. in cultural studies from Duke Universit’s Program in Literature in 2021, with a specialization in African-American Studies and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. She now applies her training to her freelance work in cultural insights, commercial semiotics, brand strategy, and trends research for global brands like Nike, Disney, Bacardi, Hinge, Samsung, eBay, and Ulta Beauty. Dr. Gabriel holds a B.A. in Political Science and African and African-American Studies, also from Duke University.
