Join a Community

When you first became an EOS major you joined our wonderful local community of fellow undergraduates, graduate students, researchers, and faculty.   Now think about joining the larger community of science-minded individuals in a field that interests you.

Click HERE to learn why membership in a scholarly community is so important.

Here is a list of important scientific societies, organizations, associations, and institutes within the fields of geosciences, oceanography, and atmospheric sciences.  Almost all of these provide special memberships and benefits to undergraduate students.   If, based on your interest, you are still unsure of which of these to join, talk to your adviser, professors, or a graduate student for insights.  Click on the links below for information.
