Duke Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) Program is pleased to host the second annual Cell and Molecular Biology Student Symposium on November 21, 2019 at the Great Hall Trent Semans Center, Duke University. In this student-driven initiative, we will be showcasing the exciting and diverse research that CMB trainees and CMB-affliated laboratories are involved in.
The theme for this year’s symposium is “Cells in Action”. This meeting will assemble experts in the field, together with Duke CMB faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students to discuss the mechanisms of cell migration and its implication in development and disease across different model organisms. To encompass the depth and breadth of this research, symposium themes include cell migration in development, metastasis, and immune response. Additionally, the symposium will include an imaging showcase.
