Consulting Teams

Introduction

The Duke Advanced Professional Degree Consulting Club (APDCC) prepares Duke graduate students for a future career in management consulting. Our members hail from diverse backgrounds, equipped with niche skillsets in STEM and Liberal Arts. Many past club member alumni have been offered positions at leading consulting firms upon graduation. We partner with and are the recruiting targets of consulting firms such as The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, and Triangle Insights Group.

Duke APDCC Micro Consulting Program

This pro-bono management consulting program was launched in 2016 with the aim of providing quick insights on specific business problems for local companies. We strive for fast turnout, focused results, and lasting improvements. Because of the short project length (around 8 weeks long), our volunteer project teams have high momentum and offer immediate feedback for implementation. We would like to encourage our club members to pursue leadership opportunities such as this, which will be beneficial for fit interview discussions as well as personal development.
