Association for Women in Mathematics at Duke
Founded in 2019, the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Duke Student Chapter is a community of Duke undergraduate and graduate students associated with the national AWM organization. Our goals are to create a supportive local network of math students and faculty, engage in community outreach, foster dialogue on diversity and inclusion in mathematics, and connect with the larger AWM and Duke communities. We host regular events (informational and social) amongst ourselves and in partnership with AWM chapters of other universities in the area.
