CSM – And That’s A Wrap

A few weeks ago, the APTA’s annual Combined Section Meeting occurred and Duke DPT made quite the showing. San Antonio brought us the perfect combination of Tex-Mex and physical therapy. More than 11,000 practicing PTs, PTAs, and students from across the country filled the city with energy and excitement for the conference.

CSM alone stands as such a large foundation for our profession and is able to foster connections to advocate for our present and future. There were countless opportunities to sit in on delegate meetings, to attend SIG meetings and parties, and for us Dukies, to spend time networking with faculty and alumni. Image may contain: 40 people, people smiling, people standing and indoor

The amount of passion, knowledge, and wisdom that shined through each presentation was so encouraging. To have a LARGE handful of professors, students, and alumni presenting talks and posters shows a testament to Duke DPT and the impact it has on our profession. Access to handouts will still be available through June 20, 2017. So if you missed a talk and want to learn more check it out!

To wrap up, the APTA is seeking feedback for the conference if you attended. If you have time please go to their website and fill out the survey.

Here is the link: http://www.apta.org/CSM/Survey/

I’m sure they will take your feedback seriously in preparation for New Orleans next year! Duke DPT is counting down the days!
