Two pages filled with valuable advice and scaffolding for how to strengthen and expand one’s teaching career. Look for opportunities at the institution to learn and practice teaching, so-called “workplace affordances”. I liked thinking about how we all need to “stretch” and develop competencies. Also my favorite two sentences: “Embrace discomfort in transitions and be adaptable. As ski instructors say, if you’re not falling, then you’re missing opportunities to learn.” Also, hats off to our own Dr. Andolsek who co-authored this paper.
