Implementation of Changes to Medical Student Documentation at Duke University Health System: Balancing Education with Service – 06/25/2021

This is great work from our team at Duke that spent many hours perfecting the note writing process for our learners.  It’s interesting to learn that certain specialties tend to give more feedback than others.  I am excited to read about a function that might happen already, where students can “hover” over their notes to see areas edited by subsequent authors- a great way to get some feedback about changes made to the final document.  Hopefully, there will be some more focus on teaching learners how to write better notes, and also faculty could benefit from instruction as to how best to teach and give feedback within the EHR.
