Everyone Wins when Retiring Faculty of Health Professions Schools are Supported – 11/01/2021

This is a letter to the editor describing how at Johns Hopkins, an academy was created to honor and support retiring faculty. Many of these individuals have continued to volunteer at Johns Hopkins and the community, and they have contributed to over 100 peer-reviewed publications, books, and book chapters.  This approach has enabled retiring faculty to maintain their identity while pursuing the missions of education, research, and volunteer activities.
