Dr Cerrone Cohen, M.D.

Cerrone Cohen, M.D., assistant professor, is co-associate program director of the Duke Family Medicine Residency. He sees patients at the Duke Family Medicine Center and at Duke Behavioral Health Broad Street. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2010 and completed a combined family medicine and psychiatry residency at the University of California at Davis in 2015.


Dr. Cohen joined Duke in 2015 as a faculty member in the Departments of Family Medicine and Psychiatry and am licensed in both specialties. As part of his practice, he treats both physical and mental illnesses to improve overall patient well-being. His goal is to empower patients to take charge of their own health. Aside from direct patient care, Dr. Cohen also work within the Family Medicine Residency program developing a behavioral health curriculum and training residents…  His professional interests include primary care psychiatry, medical education, and integrated care.
