Average THC content of a cannabis joint rose from 1.5% in 1970’s to 8.9% in 2018. It is indicated for only a limited number of conditions which include chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, specific pain and spasticity syndromes, and certain types of childhood epilepsy.
