We as teachers ask a lot of questions, but have you ever stopped to think about how we could possibly ask better questions, that might be more helpful to our learners. Within the article are some very valuable tips which include allowing learners some “think time” after your question is posed. The authors also wrote about the value of allowing learners to collaborate, perhaps with another student, and brainstorm together to come up with an answer. Lots to think about, again I strongly recommend that you reflect upon the suggestions made in the article.
