Welcome to the Laboratory of Quantitative Developmental Biology at Duke!

Our laboratory develops live imaging and computational methods to probe the dynamics of the signaling pathways that control cell division during development and regeneration. We aim to uncover the dynamical principles that ensure that embryonic development and regeneration are regulated in a reliable manner. Our favorite model system is theĀ Drosophila embryo. We have initiated collaborative projects on embryonic development of the mouse embryo and regeneration of zebrafish appendages.
