Introducing the Digital Venture Challenge

The Digital Venture Challenge (DVC) is a new annual, year-long new venture competition open to Duke students working on software-oriented new ventures across industries. The program is hosted by the Pratt School of Engineering’s Institute for Enterprise Engineering, but will be open to all members of the Duke University student community. Participating students will gain hands-on experience building a new software venture and have the opportunity to get their ideas and work in front of investors and executives.

About the Digital Venture Challenge

The Duke Digital Venture Challenge (DVC) is an annual new venture competition open to Duke students working on software-oriented new ventures across industries.  The program is hosted by the Pratt School of Engineering’s Institute for Enterprise Engineering and is open to all members of the Duke University student community.  The Duke DVC aims to provide a hands-on experiential learning opportunity for Duke students in building new software products and sustainable businesses around them, and to foster a climate of entrepreneurship among Duke students and encourage students to consider technical entrepreneurship as a career pathway.
