The Symposium will be held at the Franklin Humanities Institute at Duke University. The Institute is located in at 114 S. Parking is available after 5pm on weekdays and all day on weekends at the gravel lot across from Smith on Buchanan, immediately adjacent to the railroad.

Additional parking options:

  • Free 2-hour visitor spots outside of Bay 4.
  • 1 ungated metered area open to all visitors at the Buchanan entrance across from Bay 1. The meter is in effect from 7am to 9pm weekdays and 9am to 9pm weekends. The first 30 minutes is free – you can obtain a dashboard pass at the meter. Thereafter the rate is $2 per hour.
  • A central gated area, accessible by card swipe to Duke faculty, students and staff after 5:00pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. (Duke faculty and staff with premium-level parking passes can swipe into the Smith lot during business hours.)
