I’m excited to share that Project Vox, a digital project we’ve been partnering with since spring 2014, is looking to hire a Duke graduate student assistant for the spring 2016 term, to help organize and run a conference at Duke University on pre-modern women philosophers (April 14-17). In addition to gaining experience organizing and promoting a scholarly conference, this individual will also help contribute to the development of Project Vox (http://projectvox.library.duke.edu), a new digital scholarly publication and international initiative that seeks to reincorporate the voices of women philosophers into philosophy instruction and research.
This assistantship provides full funding for a graduate student (tuition and benefits, in addition to stipend) for the spring 2016 semester. Expected workload is 20 hours per week, with flexible schedule.
If you’re interested, send application materials (resume and cover letter) or requests for more information to Professor Andrew Janiak, janiak {at} duke.edu.
