Dom (’21) is a master’s student in mechanical engineering with a concentration in aerospace that simply loves to learn. He has worked on projects from cotton gins, peanut shellers, solar irrigation pumps, plastic recycling, and corona ozone generators, to atmospheric sensing rockets, self-sustaining solar planes, hybrid-electric drones, autonomous ground vehicles, and everything in between. Dom specializes in aerospace design and manufacturing, either additive or subtractive, through CAD, CAM, FEA, and CFD analyses, but also loves origami, astrophotography, and archery.
