Co-Project Manager for Uganda and Fundraising Chair on DEID Exec (Co-Design Manager and Travel Team Member for Bolivia in Summer 2022)
Why are you involved with DEID?
I joined DEID because I wanted to apply the topics I was learning in class to a meaningful engineering project. I am studying engineering because of the positive social and environmental impact it can have, and DEID embodies that goal.
What you are most excited for with the Uganda project?
I am most excited to be involved in the design of the school in CEE315 and learning about different customs in Kaihura.
Fun Fact
When I traveled to Bolivia with DEID last year, we stayed at an elevation of 14,000 ft for almost six weeks!
