In 2014, our team in Uganda spent eight weeks in the rural village of Kaihura working with the NGO, Bringing Hope to the Family, to construct two 20’ by 90’ classroom blocks. By the end of our trip, the first building was completed with exception of the roof and the second building was built up to its foundation. With DEID’s continued support, the remainder of the buildings have been completed by the team from Bringing Hope to the Family. The New Hope Vocational School is now able to accommodate its new female students and expand their enrollment.
