Why DEID?
Ever since my first semester at Duke, I have enjoyed the opportunity to work on meaningful engineering projects through DEID. I was part of two bridge construction projects, one in Bolivia and one in West Virginia. I absolutely loved both of these projects, and I consider DEID to be a fundamental part of my engineering and personal education. Now as co-President, I hope to facilitate meaningful experiences for our members, encourage ethical reflection, and promote collaboration between our teams.
