What has your involvement with DEID looked like?
This is my first year being a part of DEID! As a member of the EIA Bolivia Bridge Building Project, I will serve as a safety manager, planning on-campus workshops and making safety a priority in-country. I am excited to continue to grow my involvement in DEID.
Why are you a part of DEID?
I joined DEID because I was seeking an opportunity to use my engineering knowledge to support underserved communities across the globe. I have a strong desire to make a real-world impact through engineering and see the results first-hand.
What you are most excited for about your project or DEID?
I am most excited to travel to the site and learn more about the culture within Bolivia. I am also looking forward to connect with the community and hear their stories.
Fun Fact
I am always down to try new foods! The craziest things I’ve tried include sea worms and grilled crocodile.
