What has your involvement with DEID looked like?
I’ve been involved with DEID since my sophomore year, when I was a part of the travel team for Eswatini as the Logistics Manager and then became Treasurer in January.
Why are you a part of DEID?
I’m a part of DEID because I’m really passionate about using engineering for good. More than anything, I want to make use of my degree to help people live better lives, and improve them through unique ways. I also love the community it has brought together and it really excites me to see what things we will accomplish in the future!
What you are most excited for about your project or DEID?
I’m really excited to help try to expand DEID’s mission within the United States. While we haven’t participated in a domestic project since 2022, I hope we can start those up again and keep helping people in our local communities!
