Why are you a part of DEID?
DEID has been an opportunity to express my passion for sustainable development through student driven design and community partnership. I’m a part of DEID because of the community. The network of scholars that emerges from addressing technical, ethical, and interdisciplinary challenges has made this an incredibly rewarding experience.

What you are most excited for about your project or DEID?
I’m excited to help develop post implementation resources and improve the connectivity between alumni, students, and community partners!

Fun Fact
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on Earth! My senior thesis explores the potential of bamboo in the field of sustainable infrastructure!
