What has your involvement with DEID looked like?
I am a first year freshman in DEID that is excited to learn more about the club and make connections!
Why are you a part of DEID?
I have always wanted to immerse myself into the culture of another place and I think this is an amazing opportunity to do so. The ability to work on my design capabilities and be able to impact a group that was before isolated is an amazing opportunity that I am grateful to be a part of!
What you are most excited for about your project or DEID?
I am excited to be able to grow my Spanish speaking abilities and connect with the locals and really understand the impact that humanitarian projects like this have on a community.
Fun Fact
One time I fell of a ski lift mid-lift, but I didn’t break any bones!
