What has your involvement with DEID looked like?
I am one of the Uganda project managers this year. Last year, I was the on-campus construction and safety lead for the Uganda project and the recruitment and retainment chair.
Why are you a part of DEID?
I joined DEID because I stumbled upon it when looking into the Global Development certificate and it was a huge component in my decision to commit to Duke.
What you are most excited for about your project or DEID?
I am most excited to help the Uganda project team complete the construction of the secondary school
