Playground.com allows you to select a design from their library or upload a design and then transform the text and images to your liking.
I selected one of their logos to test first.
I gave it the prompt: “Change the text to Duke University Academic Media Production” and got this:
So close but like many AI image generators, it didn’t do well with spelling.
I changed the prompt to: “Change the text to Duke University Academic Media Production, change the date to 2007 and change the fish to an old time film camera” and got this:
Oh no! Text is falling apart! I did like how it created the film camera using a very similar approach to how the fish image was created. I hit the “try again” button and got this:
I have to say, unlike other AI image creation engines that tend to never be able to recover from spelling errors, this one did quite well.
Now the copyright test. I uploaded one of the most recognizable logos of all time and gave it a prompt:
The results were pretty good:
I’m glad to see that this site has a free tier. Definitely worth spending some more time experimenting.
