On Tuesday, November 19th from 3-5PM, Duke’s School of Medicine will be showing a short piece of video shot last summer as detailed in these blog posts:

Dr. Len White and Dr. Daniel Schmitt as well as representatives from SONY will be on hand to discuss the challenges and opportunities this new video format provides.

We will be showing similar footage shot in HD so you can compare the differences of the formats when projected large as well as discussing other immediate use cases for 4k video in teaching and learning.

The event is being held at the new Duke Biddle Trent Semans Center for Health Education at the School of Medicine on West Campus/Medical Campus.

Hope to see you there!

This event is open to the entire academic community including our peer schools around the Triangle so feel free to forward.
