Streaming Media West is an industry conference focused on online video and held in October/ November in California every year since the late 90’s. I attended Streaming Media West twice before, but this is the first year I’ve been a speaker at the conference, having been invited to participate on a panel this time on selecting a lecture capture solution. The panel was moderated by Paul Riismandel from Northwestern and included representatives from UCLA and Cal State San Marcos and spurred some discussion after the session that we are planning on turning into an article for the Feb 2013 issue of Streaming Media Magazine.
