Several of us around Duke have had a few meetings to discuss the challenges brought by migrating to high definition video – in content capture, production, storage, content sharing and publication. We’d like to bring in the entire DDMC to discuss what if any technologies or processes might we employ Duke wide to help us all be more effective in our content production efforts. I’ve attached one of the sketches we’ve put together to give an idea of the scope of what we’ve been discussing.
We’d certainly like to have you all come by to join us on Thursday, July 26th at 3:30PM in Perkins 217 to discuss what we can do to help each other as we transition and continue to produce lots of great assets. Storing and finding these alone are becoming a monumental challenge.
