Kendall Jefferys

Kendall majored in Environmental Science and Policy as well as English at Duke University. Her research examined governance, community context, and social-ecological impacts of marine protected areas in Indonesia. She has also researched with the Duke Marine Robotics and Remote Sensing Lab, exploring how remote sensing technology can monitor land cover change in the coastal Southeast.  After graduation, Kendall spent the summer working for NOAA. She is currently getting her Master’s of Science in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Bristol in the UK where she will graduate in September 2022.

Kendall was a Rachel Carson Scholar and a fellow at the Rachel Carson Council.
