Alice Daeschler

Alice is a first year Master of Environmental Management student specializing in coastal and marine systems and community engagement and environmental justice. After graduating from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, she spent time working as a marine research intern in the Bahamas, and in coral restoration in the Florida Keys. She spent the year prior to Duke working on a farm in Vermont, and spent the summer as an environmental technician for the Vermont State Department of Environmental Conservation doing aquatic invasive species research. Alice is interested in pursuing a career in conservation and restoration, particularly in coastal ecosystems and communities.
