The inaugural CyberRISK (Regional Information Security Knowledge-sharing) workshop for Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) was held July 11-12, 2019. The workshop,  funded through a grant from the National Science Foundation,  was hosted by Duke University in partnership with NC Central University and MCNC.

Workshop Objectives:

  1. Share easy-to-deploy cyber defense tools and techniques with participants.
  2. Facilitate interactive forums for participants and national groups such as Internet2, EDUCAUSE and REN-ISAC.
  3. Provide networking and sharing opportunities for participants to discuss cybersecurity with peers and industry leaders.
