Remote Studies

LIFT for Healthcare Workers (Emotional distress in frontline nurses working in COVID-19 units)

  • Population: Adults nurses currently working in an adult COVID unit at Duke University Hospital
  • Purpose:  We are doing this study to see if the Lift mobile mindfulness app is a feasible way to deal with the stress associated with directly caring for COVID-19 patients.  This app is currently being studied to treat stress in ICU patients, but we think that it may have benefits for nurses who have worked during the COVID-19 pandemic as well.
