Monoclonal Antibody Studies:

ACTIV-2 – Enrolling Now 

  • Population: For Adults that have tested positive for COVID-19 less than 7 days ago, have COVID-19 symptoms, and are at home (not in the hospital).
  • Purpose: We are doing this study to test the ability of various drugs to improve health outcomes for people with COVID-19. We also want to see if these drugs are safe, and if these drugs can stop the disease process and prevent hospitalization.

Regeneron Enrolling Now

  • Population: Adults that have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 3 days, have not been hospitalized due to COVID-19, and have 1 or more risk factors for severe COVID-19 disease (such as age 50+, heart/lung/liver/kidney disease, and obesity).
  • Purpose: We are doing this study to test the study drug (REGN10933+REGN10987) and understand if it can improve health outcomes for people with COVID-19. We also want to see if these drugs are safe, and if this drugs can stop the disease process and prevent hospitalization

Studies To Do From Home

ACTIV-6Enrolling Now 

This study is being done completely remote, meaning there will be no clinic visits and all activities will be done from your home.

  • Population: Adults 30+ years old having mild to moderate symptoms and have a diagnosis of COVID-19.
  • Purpose: We are doing this study to see if the if repurposed medications are safe and can help people get better faster, keep them from getting sicker, and prevent them from going to the hospital.  A repurposed medication is an approved drug for a different condition that we are using to try and treat COVID-19

Blood Clot Prevention Studies

ACTIV4c: COVID-19 Post-hospital Thrombosis Prevention Study- Enrolling Now

  • Population: Adults being discharged from a COVID-19 hospitalization
  • Purpose: We are doing this study to compare how people do either on a blood thinner or not following a COVID-19 hospitalization. The chance of blood clots in patients who are diagnosed with COVID-19 is higher than for patients who do not have COVID-19. Clots in the arteries, veins, and heart can cause heart attacks, strokes, and blockages.

Community Contact Watch Studies

COVID-19 Long Haulers (After Effects of COVID-19)  Enrolling Now

  • Population: Adults who have had a diagnosis of COVID-19, are still having mild to moderate breathing problems, and are able to get an MRI.
  • Purpose: We are doing this study to learn more about how COVID-19 affects your heart and lungs after you have recovered from the infection.

SNOWBALL: COVID-19 Community Study  Enrolling Now

  • Population: Adults who may or may not have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or were given a coupon from a community member
  • Purpose: We are doing this study to find people who have been exposed to COVID-19 and may be infected but aren’t aware of it yet.  We also want to learn about social activities and behaviors that may lead to the spread of the disease.

  • Population: Adults and Children (2+) who are exposed to someone with COVID-19, have been diagnosed with COVID-19, or have symptoms that seem like an infection
  • Purpose: We are doing this study to understand more about biomarkers (a part of your body) and how they can be used to better diagnose infection.

  • Population: Adults with a diagnosis of myasthenia gravis and an active email or MyChart account.
  • Purpose: We are doing this study to learn more about how the Coronavirus, COVID-19, is affecting people with Myasthenia Gravis.
